Danilo Picca was born in Savigliano (Cuneo, Italy) on January 17th, 1981, and he lives in Saluzzo.
He attends the Faculty of Construction Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin (2000-2005) where he collaborates with Professor Carlo Caldera during his courses of Technical Architecture (Polytechnic University of Turin - I.S.E.T. Department).
Once he graduates in Construction Engineering, and he matriculates in the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Turin, he starts to collaborate (2005-2012) with Eng. Ivano Testone. Therefore, he combines his professional activity with an in-depth analysis of the architectural subjects treated at the University throughout his participation in conferences, conventions and competitions.
After his graduation in Architecture, he starts his own studio, and he liaises with various professionals in the architectural planning and structural engineering field.
He is member of the Young Engineers Committee, of the Structures Committee, and of the Planning Comitee of the Engineers’ Order of the Province of Cuneo. He was member of the group for the selection of the teams for the static analysis of buildings in the areas affected by the earthquake in Abruzzo (Italy, 2009).
